Ola electric scooter user, Sreenadh Menon highlights the incident on Twitter. While the post doesn’t clarify the reason for the accident but it appears more to be caused by some software glitch.  As per the user, the front fork of his Ola e-scooter got broken even when it was running at a low speed. The user also demands a replacement or redesigning of the unit as compensation. However, official acknowledgement of the incident is awaited from Ola Electric. This is not the only case of its kind as other Ola Electric customers have also raised similar issues. A user named Anand LS has also tweeted a similar incident which happened with his brother. The user explains the scenario by saying that the front fork of his Ola electric scooter got collapsed during the Eco mode when it was running at 25kmph and hit a wall.  The user warned the company and said, “Similar issue happened to some other customers in the plain road also. Take this as a serious and most urgent problem and resolve it soon.” Previously, Ola electric scooter was reported to caught fire while another unit went in reverse mode at full speed. Since the major operation of the Ola electric scooter is heavily dependent on software, the company needs to work more on this part to avoid such issues in the future.
