OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a premium design with a glass back panel and is available in 2 color shades- Grey Sierra and Blue Haze. It has a good battery life and comes at a decent price starting at Rs. 27,999 for those who want to own a 5G smartphone. Its only drawbacks are that it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on Integrated ColorOS.

2. Xiaomi Mi 11X 5G
Xiaomi launched this 5G smartphone in India with a new MIUI 12.5 enhanced update that brings all-new algorithms ensuring smooth performance, improved RAM management, and fixes a couple of lock screen issues. Xiaomi Mi 11X 5g also has an updated Android security patch (August 2021 version) and has a super-fast 120Hz refresh rate with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Realme launched X7 Max 5G sometime around June this year and the company claimed that it has developed this new model based purely on consumer feedback and so it aims to offer the latest features at affordable prices. X7 Max 5G comes with a much smaller box and the Realme logo and slogan as one unit. It is lighter in weight and isn’t slippery at all. The slight drawback comes up in the camera department wherein daylight photos are decent but low-light performance is weak. Launched in August 2021, Realme GT Master Edition 5G is known for its camera features. It helps you capture stunning pictures with a triple camera setup having 64MP primary and 32MP selfie cameras. Oppo launched Reno 7 Series in the early part of the year 2022. The series has 2 devices- Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro, both being 5G capable. The Oppo Reno 7 is the one which falls in the category of phones between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 in India. The smartphone has a slim and light body with a vibrant display, good battery life, fast charging, and a dedicated microSD card slot. It has a decent camera setup and a fuss-free performance in most of the departments. There are no stereo speakers and the video recording could have been better but that can be ignored. The Vivo V23 5G was launched on 5 January 2022 for the Indian market. It is an affordable mid-range phone with a dual selfie camera and color-changing design. It gives a premium feel for the price range but the rear camera is a little weak. Otherwise, it is an allrounder with good performance, stylish design, and good specs to stand out among its competitors. 7. Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G
Xiaomi launched 11i HyperCharge 5G in the 1st month of 2022 and the response to the device has been good. It comes with a 120W fast charging capability, crisp AMOLED display, and loud stereo speakers. It is sleek and lighter than other Xiaomi phones. Poco F3 GT 5G is a successor to the Poco F1 that launched back in 2018. The company claims it is meant for gaming enthusiasts in particular. It has a few lines on the back to make it look a little different and feels very good to hold in your hand due to its curved sides. It has a 120Hz refresh rate with a cleaner MIUI experience and gaming buttons on the right side of the phone. MIUI offers plenty of customization options like lock screen or shape of app icons and the pre-installed apps can be uninstalled easily. It comes with a 67W fast charger that takes less than 50 minutes to recharge completely. The only drawback is that the camera performance is not too good. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G was launched on 29 April 2022. It is a 5G capable phone with an AMOLED display and guaranteed software updates. It has a good battery life and runs Dimensity 900 chipset. The device has a plastic body but looks good overall. 5G and 4G can be used on both SIM cards and there are a plethora of other connectivity options as well. The smartphone comes in Deep Blue Ocean and Mystique Green colors and its price starts at Rs. 26,499 in India.

Realme’s X7 Pro 5G was one of the first smartphones in India to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity series 5G SoCs. It has a good refresh rate, super-fast charging capability, and 1200 nits peak brightness. iQOO Neo 6 5G is the most recent launch by iQOO in the 5G segment. It launched on 31st May 2022 and comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080×2400 pixel resolution. It is a sleek smartphone with a host of connectivity options. There is support for Band 40 5G band that is used in India. Oppo F21 Pro 5G launched in India on 12th April 2022. The smartphone boasts a unique design and AI-enabled camera specs. Motorola launched this Edge 20 Series in July 2021 to make a mark in the sub-Rs. 30,000 category. The Moto Edge 20 boasts of a powerful processor, a higher refresh rate display, better cameras and 5G support. It has a 144Hz refresh rate and is 5G ready. The brand promises software and security updates along with providing IP52 rating and a versatile camera setup on the device. Although the smartphone has an average battery life and low-light camera performance needs improvement, but it is still a viable option in under 30k price range.
