The 6700 XT is the most compact in terms of design among all 6000-series cards. This also means has it a smaller GPU with just 40 compute units, 64 ROPS, 160 texture units, and 2560 stream processors. AMD seems to have optimized it well as it takes an aggressive stance with clock frequencies. The 6700XT Game Frequency is set at 2424Mhz and computes performance of 12.41 TFLOPs. This means the RX6700XT doesn’t lag far behind against RX6800. That being said, real-world game performance will various other factors. AMD has used 12GB of GDDR6 of unknown speed with a 192-bit memory interface and up to 384GB/s of bandwidth. Surprisingly, AMD has cut down the Infinity Cache size to 96MB on the RX6700XT. It requires standard 8+6 pins to draw 230W of power. AMD had a lot to say about the 6700XT performance during the launch keynote. IT claims that its new 6000-series card can blow away the likes of the NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti and RTX 2080 Super. and can take on $399 RTX 3060 Ti and the $499 RTX 3070 cards.
